Thanking God for the life of
Mamukhulu Emily Sekhonyane

Known affectionately as...
'Masechaba' | 'Mabishop' | 'Mother B' | 'Lady Bishop' | 'Mrs Bishop'

She was born on 10th September 1966 and was married to Bishop Peter Sekhonyane for 26 years.

Mamakhulu Emily Sekhonyane passed on after a short illness on Sunday March 7th 2021.

She leaves behind her husband - Bishop Peter Sekhonyane, 4 daughters and 3 sons: Maphiri, Pinkie, Phindile, Obed, Brenda, Tumelo and Sechaba plus 11 grandchildren.

Lady Bishop was a God-fearing woman, loving and kind.  The type of person who would open her heart, home and her family to the community and the church.

She fed the elderly women, took care of and fed the kids and served the church and the nation. She also shared her husband with the world.

A Service of Thanksgiving is being held on Wednesday March 10th at 4pm.

A Funeral Service followed by a family burial is being held on Friday March 12th at 9.30am.

The services will be led by Bishop Enoch Blaai and will be held at Maranatha Revival Ministries, Extension 1, Orange Farms and Vanderbilj Cemetery.
